A Fortunate Universe: Book Launch

A Fortunate Universe: Life in a Finely Tuned Cosmos will be released in Australia at the end of November (although it has been available online for a few weeks now). To celebrate this, we will be holding an official book launch at the University of Sydney on the 25th November in the Messel Lecture Theatre at the Sydney Nanoscience Hub (map below).

The event will be hosted by the irascible Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, and will be part presentation, part Q&A, on the topic of the fine tuning of the physical properties of the universe for complexity and life. The authors will be happy to meet and greet after the event.

The Messel Lecture Theatre is located in the Sydney Nanoscience Hub, the new cutting-edge facility behind the historic School of Physics. The event is free, but please register here:

Click here to register (ignore the map, the event is at the University of Sydney in Sydney, not at Narrabri in Central NSW!)

Enter via the stairs at the western end of the building;

If you are unable to make the launch, we will also be holding a similar event at Westmead as part of Sydney Ideas on the 5th December. We hope we can see you at one of the events.
